NOTICE OF ELECTIONS

 

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

You are hereby notified that on Sunday, 8 December, 2012, Local 485 shall conduct the

required elections to fill the following offices of the Local;

• President
• Vice-President North
• Vice-President South
• Business Agent North
• Business Agent South
• Sec / Treasurer
• Recording Secretary
• Members at Large (3)
• Trustees (3)
• Sergeant at Arms

The meeting at which nominations for the above listed offices will be

accepted is Sunday, 11 December, 2011, at 10AM.

The location of the meeting is The Property, 1201 W. Gila Bend Hwy, Casa

Grande, AZ.

Every member of the Local, present and in Good Standing, shall have the

opportunity to nominate a candidate for any and all offices for which nominations are to

be made.

It shall be the responsibility of any member nominating another member who is

absent from the meeting to have the written acceptance of the person being nominated

in hand.

Nominations by mail setting forth the name of the nominee and the respective

office opposite such name, and the name of the person making the nomination shall be

accepted, provided they are received at this Local Union’s mailing address (PO

Box 5705, Tucson, AZ, 85703) no later than noon on the last day of mail delivery

(Sat, 10 Dec) prior to the nomination meeting, and that the person being nominated

is either in attendance at the nomination meeting or has a written acceptance on file

with the Local prior to the meeting.

This meeting and the election process are important! Please attend!
